Hotel Palazzo Vecchio is located in an elegant building of the early twentieth century. The hotel has grown gradually over the years. At the beginning of 1980, it had only 6 rooms, over the years have been purchased more floors and rooms, at the present time there are 34 rooms, spread over five levels. It is currently planning a further expansion of the structure.
The young and professional staff at the Hotel Palazzo Vecchio offers a warm welcome on arrival. They will be happy to recommend the best monuments, current events, clubs and restaurants in the area. They will suggest you, according to your needs, tours and excursions in the city and in the most interesting areas of Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Chianti). Professionalism and friendliness are among the strengths of our structure. The staff is available 24 hours a day and takes care of every single guest. Our guests particularly appreciate our location, in the heart of Florence. It is a short walk from the exhibition center (Fortezza da Basso, Palazzo dei Congressi, Palazzo degli Affari), also the proximity to the Santa Maria Novella railway station, which is 200 meters far, that allows our guests to reach us on foot without using public transport. Our structure is an excellent starting point to visit the sights of the city. The district of Santa Maria Novella, where the hotel is located, has many restaurants and shops as well as museums of exhibitions. The new recreational areas of the neighborhood offer to the customers of all ages opportunities for recreation and relaxation close to the hotel. We would recommend to book a double room with a view to enjoy a spectacular view of the Duomo of Florence. The hotel has also triple and quadruple spacious rooms at competitive prices, which allow families and groups of friends to enjoy the spacious and comfortable room. Adjacent to the hotel it is available our private parking, upon payment, it is a very valuable resource whereas the city center has few parking areas. On departure day, our hotel allows for free to leave your car in the parking lot to take full advantage of the last day of stay in Florence.
